Hello and Happy New year to you all with 2019 now in it's final hours, I hope you all party safe tonight. With a blurry eye for most, keep a bright eye out for the following music acts passing through your region in 2020 along with more to be announced as the year progresses on. The first shows to go are by Marley Wynn on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, who is finishing a three month stint out at Uluru and will be joined by special guest, 'Jeane' at Soundcity in Port Lincoln 17th January.
With tonight being the last show for the year we have both Scott Bassham & Shaun Corlson live at the Freemasons Hotel in Bridgetown W.A. Bridgetown has an annual music festival as the town is surrounded by Forrest like an alternative village waiting for the Smurf's. Hopefully the fella's will play the Cure's 'A Forrest' or 'If A Tree Falls' by Bruce Cockburn, along with 'Rip Rip WoodChip' by John Williamson. This would turn the night into paper with some feeling like paper mache with no news today.
A big thank you goes out to all the music venues and punters who supported the touring acts and Corney Music in 2019, see you next year for another round and keep on grooving.

In the wake of the recent bush fire in Yorketown & Edithburgh South Australia there will be a fundraising event held at the Edithburgh Hotel on Saturday 14th December. Many people have kindly donated their time and skills in order to help raise money for those who have been affected and for your local C.F.S. crews and volunteers to say thank you.
In bringing the community together, Australia Post will be handling the ticket sales at $20 per person and volunteer collectors will be present at the event. Musicians from across the state will perform from 3:00 pm – Midnight where you can enjoy the sounds of The Yorke Band, Kuko - Sonya Rankine & Shane Labady, Peter Santella with Jason McKell, Great Scott & Calamity Joyce, with more acts to be announced soon.
The community invites people from all over to attend and dig deep to support the unexpected circumstances at hand. The weather conditions are changing and it’s time to raise the awareness by working together for future fire defence. This event is bought to you by The Edithburgh Hotel, Corney Music, Mad Panic promotions, The Yorke Peninsula Country Times and Australia Post and everyone looks forward to seeing you on the day.

Zac Eden's solo blend has been compared to the quasi-storytelling tones of Johnny Cash, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, and Lana Del Ray. He pulls his childhood feelings of freedom and open-mindedness into his song writing as he contrasts and comments on modern society, often pointing out the elephants in the room in both a satirical and genuine manner. Zac's earliest musical influences came from his mother blaring Donovan, Cat Stevens, Joan Baez and the Eagles around the family home. Eventually, the build-up of these folk and country influences exploded as he taught himself guitar, learned to sing, fronted successful Adelaide bands and achieved a First-Class Honours degree at The Adelaide Conservatorium of Music.
